WCED 2025 Grade 8 Applications
Admissions for grade 8 are now closed.
Please note the following dates:
- 15 April - 17 May 2024: Schools process grade 8 applications.
- 30 May 2024: System displays the outcome of the grade 8 applications.
- 30 May - 03 June 2024: Parents are informed of the outcome per email/SMS.
- 30 May - 14 June 2024: Parents confirm acceptance of the grade 8 placement.

WCED 2025 Grade 9 - 11 Applications
Admissions are now closed.
Please note the following dates:
- 01 August 2024: System opens for schools and districts to capture transfer requests on the SAMI system (all ordinary public schools).
- 16 August: System closes for schools and districts to capture transfer requests on the SAMI system (all ordinary public schools).
- 17 August - 04 September 2024: Schools process transfer requests.
- 06 September 2024: Principals finalise and sign off transfer request statuses on the SAMI system.
- 01-18 October 2024: PHASE 2 - Schools fill available spaces.
*Please note that the school does not allow grade 12 applications/transfers
